Job Overview:

As a Sales Manager for Ship Spare Parts, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth by managing relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing them with suitable spare parts solutions for their maritime operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the maritime industry. Identify and engage with potential clients to expand the customer base. Understand clients’ needs and act as a primary point of contact for inquiries and concerns.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of the ship spare parts portfolio. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitors’ products. Provide product demonstrations and presentations to clients.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new market opportunities and potential areas for growth. Create and maintain a sales pipeline and report regularly on sales performance.

Quotation and Proposal Management:

Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for ship spare parts. Work closely with the technical team to ensure the proposed solutions meet clients’ specifications. Present proposals to clients and negotiate terms and conditions.

Order Processing and After-Sales Service:

Manage the order fulfillment process, including coordinating with logistics and ensuring timely delivery. Address and resolve customer issues or concerns in a prompt and satisfactory manner. Follow up with clients to gather feedback and assess satisfaction levels.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience in sales within the maritime or shipping industry. Familiarity with ship spare parts, their applications, and relevant regulations.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Negotiation and persuasion abilities. Result-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Technical understanding to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Languages: Proficiency in English (additional languages beneficial).
